I made a similar string quilt years ago, using ugly brown and ugly pink. I showed it on my blog and someone responded to my "chocolate and raspberry quilt" .. uh same quilt, but that quilt turned out gorgeous, just because chocolate and raspberry is far more exciting than brown and pink. I named that quilt "My Life" for obvious reasons. 8-))))
As I am sewing strips on my absolutely ugly blocks, I started to make a string along.
